HOWDY FOLKS!
Glad you could stop by. A Special thanks to those of you who have been coming out to the shows and showin’ some love. Y'all Rock!
I will be adding new stuff/info as it becomes available so make sure and check back for updates! I’ll try and be good about this.
If you'd like to know when I'm playing in your area, sign the e-mail list and I'll drop ya a line. Thanks for the support and I'll see ya on the road.
Ahhhh Yeah,

WHAT'S UP:
Here's what's new in Collinsville...
updated 9-1-05
Hurricane Benefit / Showcase
9-14-05 at 12th & Porter in Nashville - 6:00pm
Me and the boys (Ken McMahan, David Swanagin, Dan Baird & Allen Collins) will be putting on this show with no cover charge. Donations to the Red Cross relief effort for Hurricane Katrina survivors taken at the door if you'd like to give.
Sin City All Star Bash on Sept 9th at the Exit/In, Nashville.
My bud Bryson Jones and his band of outlaw brothers from Los Angeles called The Snakehandlers will be hosting the event along with Shilah Morrow and Shawn Catz from Sin City Marketing. I can tell ya from experience; this will be one of the shows to see during the Americana Music Conference. These guys know how to throw a party and you never know who's gonna stop by to throw down! I'll be there with my band to sit in for a few songs. Check my SHOWS page for updates on the star studded line-up.

New pictures on the Photo page!
Here's one with Dan's friends
Mike Campbell and Ron Blair from
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
They came to our show at the
Exit/In back in July. (L-R: Dan Baird, Ken McMahan, Ron Blair & Mike Campbell)
Europe dates set! Check the SHOWS page for details on the first leg of the European tour. The line up for this run will be: Allen Collins on bass, Ken McMahan on guitar and Billy Block on drums. We've got some good stuff brewing and will be heading back for yet another run. YEE HAW!
Thanks to Nashville's ALL THE RAGE magazine for the plug.
"Stacie Collins featuring an impressive array of Nashville rockers in her backing band led by her producer Dan Baird, Stacie Collins has earned a reputation for superb twang rock with more than a hint of blues accented by her exceptional harmonica playing."
DAN BAIRD and his band, now called "Homemade Sin" (featuring Keith Christopher, Mauro Magellan and Ken McMahan), will be headed across the pond for some dates in Sept./Oct. For all things Dan Baird check out this cool fan site www.danbaird.net.

Special thanks to The Rivertown Music Club promoter Kelly Thomas. Kelly invited me to play a show in Cincinnati, OH at the The Blue Note and we met a lot of cool folks like The Danny Frazier Band. We also got some cool live shots from photographer Jason Bechtel. Thanks, Jason, you're awesome!
So ya like the Blues? When I'm in Nashville and I feel like hearing some Blues I go see my good friend, the amazing Shan de Bayou playing at the Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie Bar in Printers Alley. Shannon is one of the best Blues Harp players you'll hear anywhere and Bayou's Sunday Swamp Stomp is sho' nuff a good time, das fuh true! They are gracious enough to let me sit in with them and I REALLY appreciate what they do.
I've added a few more samples from the "THE LUCKY SPOT" CD for your listening pleasure. Hope ya dig 'em!
